New grandson George

Well what a hectic Easter weekend, my eldest daughter moved to Bristol, and me and hubby decided we would go and see her and my grandaughter Maisey. We wanted to surprise them but the tables were turned as Laura went into labour on the Friday as we were travelling down there. The traffic was horrendous a four hour journey took us nine hours as the m4 was closed part way. Anyway we arrived to meet our new grandson George .
Hopefully more pictures later just wanted to let all my blog readers know about our new addition. Take care keep crafting Julie x

Wedding cards

Just a quick post today as I've been busy with a Fayre yesterday and looking after my friends puppy all weekend.

Hope you like them. I love making the bows with the envelope punch board, so simple. I've embossed the bow and background with the polka dot embossing folders, I must admit I use this folder quite a lot. Anyway take care and keep crafting Jx

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to you all.
I had quite a few Mother's Day orders  so I thought I would show you some of them over the next couple of days. This is the one I made for my mum which was inspired by Julie kettle wells cards.
I love this style of card as you can adapt it to any occasion.

I used the petite petals stamp set and punch which I have used on lots of cards lately. Pop onto my blog tomorrow and see the wedding card I made using this same style of card. If your mum hope your being totally spoilt, I have my granddaughter with me so I'm happy. Take care and keep crafting. Bye for now Jx

Card in a box

Hope you have all had a good weekend, I've been busy making mother's cards and looking after my granddaughter.
Tuesday night we had our usual class and we had a newbie. Sue brought her new partner who is very supportive  of her craft obsession, I think it takes a brave man to take on a crafter, lol .
Here are some pictures I will post my projects tomorrow. Take care and keep crafting.
This is Muriel one of our newbies.

Hi well it's cold this morning and I really didn't want to get out of my lovely warm bed, but I had to go to work to pay the bills......
Last night I started a new class I currently run a class one per month in Middlesbrough. I was asked if I would start one in Marske so I thought why not,it means meeting new people and sharing what I love.
We held the class at Marske Leisure Centre, what a  fab place the staff were so lovely and helpful. Pop over to  their page they have lots going on.
Today I will share some photographs of the ladies crafting and tomorrow I will post my projects.

This photograph I asked Dawn and Sandra to look creative can you see Dawn trying to keep her laugh in lol

We can't forget Sharon she wasn't feeling her best but still looked gorgeous ( don't you just hate that I permanently look I've been pushed through a bush backwards)

Cards in boxes

Hi everyone, I haven't blogged for awhile as I've been poorly with viral labyrintis which is dreadful every time I moved my head I threw up or felt dizzy. Unfortunately my husband was away so I was left all on my lonesome feeling sorry for myself. But I'm much better.
I finished some invitations last month and the customer asked me to make some thankyou cards with the wow factor. Please comment and let me know what you think x

Dress framelits

As you all know Maisey my granddaughter is my biggest fan, so I decided to make her a picture using the dress framelits. I was really pleased with it until I fell down the stairs carrying it( I didn't hurt myself). So unfortunately I damaged the frame but Maisey still loved it. Please leave me a comment and I will  show Maisey  she will be chuffed. Take care and keep crafting  Jx

Pop n cuts workshop

We had a pop n cuts workshop today .So I thought I would share some pictures, we welcomed 7 new crafters to our group.
Stampin up have a range of dies for the big shot which make fabulous pop up cards. The ladies made 3 projects, a gorgeous elegant card using the pop n cuts insert, and the dress framelits. Then they made a gift card holder using the pop n cuts base card and finally a gift box again using the base card die. Everyone received a little notebook holder with discount vouchers that I had made and a goody bag.
