Reason To Smile

Just a quick post showing you some cards we made in class using the reason to smile stamp set which you could earn free in August for orders of £60.

These cards are nearly the same apart from tiny change to the embellishments which can make a hugh difference.

This final card used the creative elements stamp set, which i love and i hope it does,nt go on the retired list.

Afternoon Tea

Hi Everyone,
                    I'm organising an afternoon tea for all my crafty friends and some friends who don't craft who I'm hoping to drag to the dark side lol.
Venue will be my home on the 29th September 2012 from 2pm.
Ive decided as the new main catalogue will go live beginning of October my ladies need some cash to spend, so Ive invited them all to bring stamp sets they don't use and swap or sell them to each other to make more room in their craft areas for new craft stash.
  I often support Breast Cancer Research so I'm providing cakes and refreshments on the day and a raffle. Half the proceeds will be given to Breast Cancer Research.
My good friend Sharon will be making some cakes to sell and a few ladies have offered to bring some cakes also for us to eat mmmmmm...........

Jenna's bithday cupcake card

Hi Everyone ,
                   Last weekend it was my lovely downline Jenna's birthday so i made her a special card. Ive seen lots of these cards on the Internet but wanted to add my own little twist to it.

Artistic Etchings

Just a quick post today
                 I'm loving this technique which is really easy to achieve. I love using red, black and river rock they compliment each other, which is why i adore using stampin up products they all work so well together.
Ive had quite a few people signing up and joining my team over the last few months so I'm going to be very busy, I'm so excited sharing what i love.

Creative Elements

 Here are  two cards i made which influenced
my Tuesday evening craft class.
I kept my colour scheme quite basic and used the creative elements stamp set .
The ladies and Michael loved this stamp set so I'm going to have to design some more cards as they all ordered this set, and I'm sure we will be using it in many classes to come.

A lovely Craft Evening

Last week we had a lovely craft class which i thoroughly enjoyed.(I always enjoy my classes but we talked and laughed that i didn't even have time to make a cuppa).

The lovely Joyce showing her creations. Joyce has just celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary what an achievement.
Joyce's daughter arranged a surprise 50th party and i was lucky enough to be invited , lovely evening.

Angela and Ann are always a joy. Ann (lady in green) enters competitions and Fayre's with her creations and completes some gorgeous scrapbook pages.
 I'm very lucky to have some lovely people who attend my classes.

More Apothacery

Good morning i had a request for a 40th birthday card and i knew i would have to use the Apothacery stamp set. Ive tried to add some close ups so that you can see the frame which were made with the framelits dies, again which i have used on nearly every other card i recently made.

I love the versatilty of the framelits as you can make the actual card base from the also.

Teacher Gifts

I'm late posting these pictures as school broke up several weeks ago. Its quite sad  for me as my youngest daughter Kate left school this year and will be starting a new chapter in her life.
Kate has always been a joy and has excelled at school and i wish her all the luck and love for college.
 Well a couple of pictures of teacher gifts i was asked to make for some friends unfortunately i didn't take pictures of all of them.

I don't know how this picture slipped in but i could'nt delete it.....

Vintage Craft Fair

 All  the boxes had sweets or chocolate in them.

Angela covered these books aren't they gorgeous.

I loved making these hearts which all have lavender inside.

I love these little handbag charms which hold little post it notes.

Several weeks ago myself and my  upliner Angela ran a craft stall at Marton Country Club, we had a fab day i thought i would share some photographs with you all.

I'm Back

Well i have no excuses other than I've been busy.
I  promised i would keep you informed regarding my new hobby. My ever so relaxing marine fish tank.
If I'd known how expensive this new hobby would be i probably wouldn't have started it but thankfully my husband has paid for most of it.
Right we now have 8 fish, four shrimps and four hermit crabs. The crabs have been the most destructive by eating the coral which is very expensive.
I enquired at the pet shop about the crabs eating our coral and he had never heard of crabs eating coral so he seems to think we have either crabs with attitude or they are stressed. Stressed crabs !!!!! what have they got to be stressed about, anyway I've posted some more photographs.

All the coral  and rock is live. When the light is turned off the coral shrinks.

These are cleaner shrimps very amusing to watch as when we add food they do alittle dance across the sand.
